My Browning A-Bolt Medallion in .270 - she's a fine gun. My grandfather gave this to me when he moved away and told me to take care of it.

A Stevens Model 22-410, also given to me by my grandfather when he moved away.

Some Sears-Roebuck 12 gauge bolt action. I've never shot it, but my grandfather also gave me this gun.

My first rifle. A Marlin 336CS .30-30 Win lever action. Fun little gun to shoot.

My rifle's brother, yet another 336CS in .30-30 Win. Given to me by my grandfather.

My Dad's favorite field gun - it's his pride and joy. A Ruger Red Label O/U in 20 gauge.

My very first gun. This was also my Dad's first gun, and he handed it down to me when I turned 13. It's a Winchester Model 1300 XTR in 12 gauge. Took my first bird with it :)

And finally, the Remington Model 1100 in 20 gauge. My brother shoots this.

I wish I had pics of more of my stuff, like my SKS and AR and handguns, but those stay at my Dad's father's house...so I'll try n get pics of those when I go over there this weekend to go shooting.

Im taken over of sadness when i see the "Clinton Pasafire"(SP) on the top gun. Also that 22 410 is awesome. i have something very similar and also a side by side 4 10 and a third barrel for a 22 on it. I also have a Red Label o/u 20 guage too. When i first bought my hunting dog a couple months ago my dad told me i need to use my semi auto berretta for fun, i need to now start looking good in the field so he gave me a beautiful red label. I cant wait to get my dog back from school and start hunting him. I also have a remington 1100 20 guage, it was my first shotgun, i used it for hunting and trap both a long time ago, but it has a synthetic stock on it. I also have multiple lever actions(or atleast my father does) but i foreget what all the calibers are.

ahh the good stuff. looks like you have a nice collection started. I with my family was into guns so if i wanted one i wouldn't have to buy one. though when I'm 21 , it's gonna be hard not to splurge and buy a handgun.

I know a guy who's got a yugo mouser, bushmaster ar-15 and in 2-4 months will be the owner of a m1 garand. I dont' like the mouser much, there's not enough padding on my body to shoot it enough to get a good feel for it. after the 7th or 8th shot my shoulder's done for the day.

Mausers kick like a mule on crack. That's a fact. AR's ain't much in the way of kick. The M1 is nice - I need to get my ass on the CMP list to get one of them. I'd rather get an M1 Carbine though.

Anyone know anything about reloading?

I also have ar-15 i think its dpms, i foreget right now,but ive had problems with it latly it doesnt eject the casings out all the way or it doesnt even get them out of the breech. its really nice, it had a nice handgrip on the stock and it has a heavy barrel as well as a scope. It is fun as hell to shoot prarie dogs with it do to the fact u miss on purpose and try to hit them while there running. I also have multiple m1 garand, and a couple other ww II guns. Also my dad and i are big into prarie dog hunting and we have many 22-250's, 6 mm, 2-20 swift. and some oother goodies. My dad also has like a 50 power scope on his 22-250 AI, but past like 25 all u get is heat waves.

Wha?!? Ive never had a problem with mine. If anything it kicks about as much as my .30/30. I dropped 30 shots sighting mine in (i put a scope on it) and i never had bruising. Then again, the turk weighs 10 pounds unloaded, so the gun takes alot of the recoil...

sorry for the double post, but how does that .270 shoot? All i hear is ppl ragging on the caliber, but my dads throws as good or better groups than his 7mm mag. Id love to get a .270 eventualy, i just dont know what brand to buy. I like the winchester bolt actions, but i know the browning is a hot rifle.....

in south dakota prarie dogs are like flies. they're freaking everywhere!

my frined has an uncle who shoots them there. he's had some kills at 500+ yards. that's unbelievable for a .22
Yeah i dont believe that. Ive shot pretty dogs pushing 800 yards and up but hitting them is hard, even 500 yards is hard, i really dont think he got them with a .22. litterly its almost impossible. Maybe he had a gun such as a 22-250. ive got many of those and have shot dogs 800 plus yards with that caliber, theres a couple other calibers with 22 in the begging adn then anotehr number behind, thats the only reasonable answer
