I want to start this off by saying that if you want to say ANYTHING negative or whatever about this whole post, I will ****ing hunt you down, gut you, and hang you from a ceiling fan by your intestines until you strangle to death....capiche? Let's start.

I'm normally not one for feeling depressed, crying, whatever..but today was hella different.

My great grandma was put in the hospital about a week ago, and she's REALLY deteriorating...quickly. She's 87 or so, so she's fairly old, but it's still sad to see her go. I really love her, and she was always around when I was a kid to help me through things....

Guys, it's so ****ing hard to see this...she's so weak, she can't stand up on her own, and she can't even eat anything...she throws it right back up. SHe's alive now only because she can keep down chewed ice and stuff..it's bad. I don't know how much more I can take of it...I know she'll be in a better place soon, but goddamnit why does the road there need to be so ****ing hard?

I really don't know where I'm going with this....I just kinda felt like I needed to vent...and I guess PBF seemed as good a place as any to do it.

TL:DR - **** you, die...you don't wanna read ****, don't open the thread.

My Great grandma is getting to that point too, and I've been through this a lot.

The first time was my great grandpa, he was 93 or so and it was just his time to go, and that was the first death of someone close to me I knew, and it was REALLY hard. Next was my great aunt, she got cancer and fought threw it for about 6 months, but then decided she'd rather live out a quality life then be sick and live just a bit longer. She ended up dying at age 56, and she was my grandmas twin. We were all REALLY close. About 2 months later my great grandma died from old age/ovarian cancer. Now my other great grandma has alzheimers and just got out of the nursing home for a broken hip. She just had her 90th birthday. It's so hard to watch someone you love die, and just have all the energy sucked out of them. But, from experience, I know to just keep your head up, because through all the tough times, and all the deaths, you'll have better times, and new people in your life.

Sadly my grandmother died when I was only 4 years old. She was such a nice person...

But yeah, I hope she gets better. Or if she doesn't get better, I hope it's not slow and painful. Going out fast is better. I hope I am lucky and get taken quick. I don't think I could take going out slowly and painfully. You have my condolences.

My great-grandma died in May, she was 96. She was in critical condition dozens of times before she died. Once she came home from intensive care, the doctor said she shouldn't do anything tiring for a week, and she was out gardening the next day. The doctors said she wouldn't make it a lot of times before she died, actually before she died my mom thought she would make it, the next day (the day before she was flying down to see her), she died. So don't be certain that she won't make it. I'm here for you though.

If you ever need to cry just meet me at DZ.

That sucks man. I would insert a qoute from Old School but it is uneccassary.

Just support your family and try to see her as much as you can while she's still here...
