I'm looking into a few things for my mini and wanted to get your thoughts. Looking at a new barrel but don't want to waste money on junk so what ones are best? Also need a ASA on/off, this stock reg sucks..lol What options do I have? Any spare parts I should have on hand other then orings?
Thanks for the help guys..

lucky barrels look nice, I will have to read up on them. I've heard from a guy at the field that the AXE is basicaly the same as the mini so i could use that reg. Is this true? The NDZ on/off is a nice move but I worry with it adding lenght, I'm a short guy and even with my tank stock it seems to long to tuck in for mee.

You can get an AXE asa for the mini, but they're like $80 or something last time I checked

I have an inline on/off asa like the NDZ one, and I like it a lot
I also use a DXS 48/45 tank though, it's a shortish tank anyways

razor you may want to look at the dates on posts before posting in them, this one was 6 months old and the last one i came across that you posted in was like 2 years, typically if its dead for a few months without the OP posting in it again, its because they got their question answered

never say never. mad props if you managed to work *something* out
Since it's already been necro'd, I'd like to say...there are a COUPLE of drops out there specifically made for the Mini and the Axe. But a run of the mill drop won't work.

I go to Krossfire and Paintball Knights down here in San Antonio
There's a new field that just opened recently, I wanna go and check them out too

Which makes you probably the closest member here to me. Abilene has one paintball park which is on Base (Dyess AFB) and the next closest one is in San Angelo. Well there might be one in some podunk town 30 mins away but I'm not sure if its open. I might have to make a trip to San Antonio sometime and check the fields out.

Absolutely
Krossfire is very strict on safely, check all HPA tanks for hydro, and watch you chrono
Facility is clean, pro shop has amazing prices for fixing markers and tanks (seriously, they have amazing service and the cheapest prices I've used), and overall a great time playing
The place I go to most

Knights is a little more laid back, don't check hydro, and they have some interesting games. There's one where your goal is to get a soccer ball to the other side of the field, unlimited respawn with a time limit
Also has airball

New field called X-Factor (run by team X-Factor)
Have not gone there yet, but want to try them out
