I'm getting back into paintball and purchased an x-7 and a freak kit. I still have my pro lite from about ten year ago and want to get a better barrel for it. I know that the a-5 and x-7 barrels work on a pro lite but because of the barrel shroud i can't fit my freak in it and was just wondering what good barrels there are out now that would fit in the shroud without mods. The barrel can't be any thicker than a stock tippmann barrel or it won't fit because the shroud rests on it. I tried the stock x-7 barrel (with a few different types of paint) in it but it isn't accurate enough for me yet. Any help would be appreciated. It sucks because I know if I cut the shroud down I could put whatever I want on it, but I love the shroud. I want to keep the pro lite with an extra male connector for my remote line on my back so I can switch guns quick in the field if I chop a bunch of paint with my x-7.

Thanks
George

I use a SP progressive barrel in mine(older version), Im fairly certain that a J&J will fit too.
