So true. Too many people know them for that one song. It's a good song, but they have way better ones imo.

I got 2 best buy cards, so as long as it isn't a rip off amount i'll probably end up buying it. I went out today and got ratm's live at olympic concert dvd. Must have if your a fan of them :)

....aside from the fact kurt was a sloppy guitarist.........and couldnt play worth crap. yeah. theyre pretty good
just goes to prove that you dont need skills to make amazing music...

music by people that are pro at their instruments is too perfect and boring..

the best thing about nirvana is how sloppy and beautiful it is.. plus hes a lyrical genious

i like nirvana, but i do think they are overrated. they didnt 'start' grunge, and if you've listened to any other grunge band, you would know nirvana doesnt even compare. i really cant stand the people who claim they love nirvana when theyve only heard: come as you are, smells like teen spirit, and like heart shaped box. all good songs, but they dont even come close to what their other songs are live. but back to nirvana vrs. grunge: alice in chains for instance is a MUCH more talented band that nirvana ever was. nirvana was played more on mtv and got more attention. kurt cobain should ONLY be commended for his lyrics, his song writing is terrible. anyone can play his simple powerchords. you say it shows anyone can do it, thats the point, anyone could have made that song.

thems fighting words...

when i listen to music, i listen to it for what it is.. i dont compare it to other things, i dont look into fine print about mtv sell outs, or what to classify them as.. i dont care if they are the best musicians... i care for what the whole sound is and how it makes me feel

nirvanas music really hits a spot with me. theyre unreleased, b-sides, old music and bits of the newer stuff are just plain amazing in my mind.

ive never gotten this, some peopel get pissed if a band 'sells out' but if theyre music is still good, who cares. and in my mind nirvana never sold out.. they just made it big. even if they did sell out, i dont care.. i love the sound.

since its so sloppy and raw just reflects how it was written and who it was written by, thats music.. a pure unedited raw reflection of the mans feelings.. thats music

My dad got this set and I would recommend it to any nirvana fan, or anyone who wants a piece of history. I love the dvd, it showcases the rawness of the band and its earlier stages of creation. Kurt may not have been a really good guitarist like steve vai or John mclaughlin, but he was one of the best guitarist when it comes to putting emotion in music, and making noise with feedback and such.
