i thought that was ridiculous as i started reading the article, but think, it might have some practical applications.

people burned in fires, car accidents, or other tragedies where their faces become deformed or burned off, if i was one of them i would get a face transplant rather than look like a mutant.

lol^^. that is messed up stuff. now i can understand it being done on a limited basis, like to burn or cancer victims. but not otherwise. about the only way they could even get faces to transplant would be through people who have died like in wrecks and what not.
