How does an old shocker (02 or before) compare to an impulse?

the Old school shocker was a Dual Noid, Closed Bolt gun, w/ a maximum rate of fire around 12 BPS. The old shocker also required to be "timed" sorta like an auto cocker but different in it's own form.

The impulse is a Single Noid, Open bolt gun, it's alot more gas effienct and can shoo tupwards of 20 BPS.
