OK I just got a new marker and PMI (pure enegry) remote and I'm having trouble getting the air flow to cut off but unscrewing the knob at the top of the tank. It should be noted that I'm using a Crossman pre-charged CO2 tank with a paintball adapter for testing (my real CO2 tank is empty.) Has anyone had this issue? I'm thinking that the pin on the adapter is too long or not inset like a standard Co2 tank so that it's not closing off when I unscrew the knob. Is there a standard spacing for the pin length and the indention where it lives? The remote does lot allow for removing the knob or unscrewing any farther, which seems like a good thing.
