because the aci maverick doesn't have the standard two holes in the bottom of the grip that you use to attatch bottomline ASAs and stuff. putting on a phantom 45 grip would give me more choice about bottomline setups.
maybe the question i should be asking is: how does the phantom 45 grip attatch? is it with a screw that goes up from the bottom?
why don't i try it myself? it costs like $40. i was just hoping some phantom owner could tell me how the 45 grip mounts so i don't have to go spend $40 on something that might not fit my gun.
there isn't a screw up the center, not on the 45 frame atleast. there are just the two screws on the top, one beihnd grip one in front. there are 45 frames you can get for the maverick and traccer and such, i used to have a trracer. i just forfgot what site it was at. i'll look way back in my subscribed threads and see if i can find it
sorry i checked all my threads on this site and pbnation, but couldn't find it, i know there is a site though.. just ask around for the site with 45 grips for mavericks. but....wait now that i think of it i think i remember hearing the phantom grip does fit. im not 100% sure but... why dont you just e-mail mike at cci, he could tell you for sure... ...heres one trracer with a 45. http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=469688
no it was the 45. but it was probably wrong anyways. i was asking the same question about a 45 grip for maverick/trracer and he said it probably would work but didnt know. yea APP rings a bell though..
