2004 Dodge Stratus SXT Coupe. Had her for about a month and a half now. Really fun to drive. Sadly, I might have to sell her in a year and a half and pick up a 4X4 truck if I end up going to Michigan Tech for college (180+ total inches of annual snowfall :yikes). Anyways... her she is.

The Viper does 4.6 before it was modded, my car does 4.7 after it was modded.

Edit: I don't have any pics of the engine, sorry.

That viper would look a lot better with some simple 5 spoke wheels, what have you done to your stang to make it run with the viper? And what mods does the viper have?

The mods to the Viper I really can't say because it isn't kosher...per say. ;)

He isn't changing the wheels on the Viper as they don't need to be changed yet. The car only has 4,000 miles on it. His '32 on the other hand is awesome looking, though not totally complete yet, should be done by spring.

The Cobra has a complete exaust (FR Headers, Bassani X, Flowmaster cat back), a K&N FIPK, and a computer reflash/tune.

By the way, the Viper is the only car I have ever driven where if you punch it you can actually watch the gas gauge drop. :D It definately isn't a practical car, it really kills you when you drive it. You feel every rut and pothole like it is magnified. It certainly is a beast in every sense.

Might as well post some of the Talon (TSi AWD)

God I can't wait for my tax return to get here. Car's running great right now, good buy in my mind for $500. Hoping to break 12s by summer, and 11s when fall rolls around or when I get the cash.

The '03 has a slightly more aggressive tune then the '04. The '04 was tuned down so it didn't have the $1,000 gas guzzler tax, as the '03. So, technically the '03 is the most powerfull Cobra yet (untill the GT500), even though the '03 and '04 are both rated the same. Your right, the average for the Coupe is around 4.7 while the vert is around 4.9, however the Viper is a roadster (open top), so it kinda is a bit better of a comparison to compare the regular viper to a vert Cobra and the competition coupe Viper to the hardtop Cobra. Anyway:

1994 Viper RT/10
0-60 in 4.6
1/4 in 12.9 @ 113.8 (factory rated)

2003 Mustang Cobra Vert
0-60 in 4.9
1/4 in 12.7 @111 (best stock time recorded for a vert)

Now, notice the trap speeds though, the Viper traps almost 3 mph faster which means it can easily match the 12.7 and chances are, beat it, with a better driver. The Cobra vert weighs about 300lbs more then the viper and is down about 50lb-ft tq. What kills the Viper though is the 3.07 rear gear ratio, this is quite high compared to the Cobra's 3.55. That ratio keeps the Vipers gas mileage up and revs low (and gives it a nice high top speed), but hurts it a bit in acceleration (not that a Viper is any slouch). The newer 500hp Viper works great with this ratio, the 400hp Viper not as well, but it needed it. Very interesting how something so small has such a great effect.
