i was playing woodsball last weekend, and there was a guy who was using 140 ball pods modified with the neck of a hopper on each one. the guy had made them himself, using the pods and some 50 round hoppers. also, they were offset 45 degrees rather than sticking straight up, which was a nice touch then he'd camo painted them really well. so well that i didn't believe he'd actually made them at home.

he had 4 pods in total, and i watched in amazement as he just pulled the pod off his marker, and simply popped a full one on, and off he went again. no filling the hopper, just pull it off, grab a new one off his pack and pop it straight on. i got popped twice whilst refilling my hopper that day, and wished i had some of those hopper/pods.

i was wondering if there is anything similar available to buy ready made?, but if not i'd be quite happy to make my own.

I can almost guarantee you that what you're describing is a custom item, and that there is no readily available hopper like that on the market

If you do end up making one, post pics of your process!
I'd be very interested to see how it comes out

I thought for a second you were talking about the JT slam feeder, but that's nothing like what you are describing. I don't know how i'd feel about having to replace my hoppere every time I have to reload, but at least nobody would steal my pods

When I actually played, I bought some that had sort of a mirror/reflective finish to them. Nobody else had them, so it worked out great.
