Alright I am fairly new to paintball and I bought a 98c. I have used it about 15 time or so... But today I screwed in my 20oz and once it was all the way screwed in I could hear it leaking or something.. it sounded like it was coming from where the hose connects to the gun.. If i put my hand at the end of the barrel i can feel air comiing threw the barrel.. I also tryied with my 9 oz and it did the same thing.. So i am thinking there is something wrong with the hose?? also i was playing in the rain.. does that affect anything...and I was also losing bolts and taking the gun apart.. but I didn't unscrew anything important... but anyways do you know what the problem might be??? and should i go to a local paintball course and see if they can fix it or what???

Leaking down the barrel is probably a dried up valve seal or o-ring.

So...
Head outside. Put 5 or 6 drops of oil in the ASA. Take the barrel off, make sure there's no paint in the gun. Put your CO2 on there and then dry fire a few dozen times. This sends the oil through the air passages and the valve internals. Should fix it right up. Wipe off the extra oil that sprayed out (its why you're outside) and you should be good to go.

ok it might be the hose then. I had a 98c and it leaked through the hose a few times. If it leaked up near wear the hose connects to the gun then take ur gun apart and unscrew the gas line and reseal it (you may need to remove the power tube i dont remember). This could be yoour proble as it has happened to me before and ive fixed many 98's

There's two possible things here-

It's leaking down the barrel because of a valve leak. Either feed it some more oil and hope it was a dry valve seal, or take the valve out and tear it down, clean, and rebuild.

Or its leaking from the air hose. Smear some soapy water on there and see if it bubbles up. Or, take the valve and powertube out of the gun, with the air line and everything attached. Put the CO2 on there and closely examine where exactly it is leaking. You can put the whole thing under water if you want.

If its leaking from the hose, take the hose off and clean the threads up, get all the old loctite off them. Then wrap some fresh teflon tape or drops of blue loctite on there and put it back together.
