Hey guys. Just received the Tacamo AK-47 wooden stock for my a-5 and I've been sitting here for about good 30 minutes and can't figure out how to install this thing...

Does anybody have any inputs on how to install this darn thing? Do I have to disasemble the original butt stock that came with my a-5 from factory?

btw here's a picture of it...see how weird looking the connection to the gun is?

and this is where I bought it from

I can't be 100% sure about the A5 but since it says it'll fit the 98C as well I'll go by that.

I would break the marker down until the two halves of the body came apart and then I would just switch the two stocks and put everything back together.

The goofy looking connector is made to replace the small endcap that the guns have from the factory. The rings on it should fit into rings inside the body and hold it on.

thanks for quick reply!

I guess I should of mentioned this earler, heh, but the the round part on the tacamo stock (which SUPPOSEDLY has to fit into the gun) is too big (few tenths of an inch) to fit into the gun, this is where my dillema begins. That's why I thought that maybe I have to take apart the original butt stock adapter.

I also found someone at pbreview.com that has installed this same stock on his/her a-5 and I sent them a pm....so lets hope they will answer.

I hope you get some info from them.

Actually, I hope you get an answer and not just "Mine fits."

If they don't have anything and no one on here has an answer, start swapping parts. :tup
