Ok I just bought a new cd player for my car (which was a ***** to install since my car is a 79)and I get it all hooked up and then set all my stations up and that then I turn the car off and then restart it to see if it kept everything and well it didn't my presets were gone and the clock was reset any one know what I'm doing wrong?


cd reciever=Road Gear
product #= RGCD412

Any help is appreciated

there isnt any current when your car is off, its too old.the new cars have a little bit of juice going to the radio to retain the presets. so you are probably going to be SOL unless you can some how get a current conductor to it from your local auto parts store or hard ware store, i would definatly get ahold of a professional before trying this at home.

ahh I won't worry about it I listen to cd's anyway but thanks for the input
