So on tuesday we stated a "game" in my english class.

We had to take a quiz that day. 40% of us could get a 40/40 on the quiz if we asked for it. If more then 40% of us asked, then nobody gets the free points.

So 6 people asked, adn got it. Some people were pissed off ebcuase a few of the kids who asked, relaly didnt need it.

Today, we got a free 50/250 points on the final for the class. I devised a plan, told everyone in the class, adn they all agreed. The kids in the first row would alll get it, and then the next day the next row, etc.

But today it was 25%. I was still one of the ones that was supposed to recieve it.

Now it was either the 50 points on your final, or 5 points. Anybody could ask for the 5 points, but if more then 5 people asked for the 50 points, then nobody got anything. Get it now?

Well it worked out. The first 5 kids got the 50 points. Class dismissed.

An hour later, I find out there was a mistake,a dn some stupid girl in the back that nobody knows asked for the 50 poitns too. So nobody gets anything. I needed it to pass. She has like a 98 average.

ITs all about the public good.

This experiment has failed, and now my english class is at war. I might not make it out alive/sane.

I knw my teacher is just playing us with his psych game, and I'm trying to keep my mind on track, but its hard not to care.

Thoughts?

Make sure the mistake doesnt happen again, and make sure she understands the plan so she doesnt do it again. I say give her a second chance.

As for the mind games your teacher does, I think they are stupid, everyone should have an equal chance.

Actually though it is past stupid games it is a form of indoctrination to get them to begin to think in a Socialistic manner about "common good" and stuff like that. thumup:

What happened to teaching the basics and keeping the mindcontrol stuff out of the classroom?
