Okay Christmas is coming and I'm gonna get some stuff for my Cruiser.. just need some advice on what you think I should get...

It's blue for those of you who havent seen it.



I'm not gonna be a little ***** and ask for everything I want for christmas because god knows my parents will get it for me but I would feel bad :p

Should I get:

A - Underglow and a Lowering kit

or

B - An Exhaust system.


If
A - What brand Neons? and what color? and how far should I lower it?

B- What kind? ( It's a 6 cylinder so it shouldnt be high pitched. I was thinking the flowmaster american thunder model )

PS: I know you guys think I'm gay or what have you for having a PT cruiser I remember making a thread and you guys ripping on it but I like it and just give me your opinion on what I should get. Thanks.

No, but seriously, don't do anything to it. PT's are one car that should not be touched, unless with a 10 foot pole.

Neons & Lowered - Terribly ricey. It would look absolutely horrific dude...Honestly, it would just be a waste of money. I never understood why people put neons on their cars. I suppose I could possible understand if it was an extremely fast import, but even then it's just stupid.

Exhaust - No...Just no. If you want something fast or nice sounding or whatever, sell it and buy another car.

Of course, if you want a ricey car that looks like a retarded hearse, then do both.

Sorry to sound harsh, but I LOATHE PT Cruisers, and doing any of the above would make it even worse. At least it doesn't have the fake wood paneling.

i can only really give info on option A but street glow is about the best brand of neons you can get real nice stuff i would go with blue in color and for a drop i would maybe go around 2 inches max

i kinda agree with above posts also but ya know its your ride you have the right to customize it how you like and if someone else doesnt like it or aggree thats on them they have their own ride to customize how they see fit

Definitely. Remember, these are our opinions, so do what you want. Keep in mind though that others probably share our opinions, and may let you know what they think of your newly customized ride.

Thanks pierced I kinda expected that sort of post from you thanks.

I understand most people dont like cruisers but I just cant stand cars they are just too low for me and the seats on the cruisers set like trucks so I dont have to fall down in them...and its not a truck so it doesnt guzzle gas.

I like it and I will probably end up doing option A because I'm thinking B will get me a lot of unwanted attention.

Do what you want man. People flamed me for boosting my Prelude but I don't give a ****. Every local tuner I talked to said it's a good idea and would be less cost-effective than a motor swap. And they know 10000000000x more about imports than everyone on this board.

Noone advises it.. but hey if you like it, more power to you. Personally, if I was FORCED to drive a PT, I'd drop it with some 20's and get a kickass system in it. I wouldn't try and get anything performance wise out of it or anything.

I do already have one.

Alpine all around and Crossfire subs and a crappy Dual AMP as a temporary till i get some insurance money or something from when my old good amp got stolen.

Full H22 swap is 2k+.

I've picked up my turbo, manifold, intercooler, gaskets, boost gauges all for $340. All parts are new.. td04 13g turbo.

More cost effective means it's cheaper.
Less cost effective means it's more expensive.

You arent begining to draw any conclusions like "Maybe it isnt such a good idea to try and modify my car if person after person is telling me how dumb its going to look"?

Honestly if I ever saw a PT cruiser that someone tried to make look like a fast and furious whip I would laugh my ass off.

Its harsh but seriously, that just is NOT a car you modify, or even TRY to modify with a fart can or lights.
