Alright, i have a response trigger that came with my A5 and its been working great every since. Today i polised my internals and did the click pen mod to lighten my trigger pull and hopfully make my sweet spotting a little easier.

When i got all my pieces back together on my A5 and it was ready to go i tested it out and the RT did not work...i ajusted the RT valve and everything that is with the Rt and nothing is making it work. The Pen (Behind the trigger, which normaly kicks the trigger when you sweet spot) is not moving at all. I have co2 going to my valve where you adjust the RT to tighten or lossen it when shooting.

Is there anything im overlooking here?

ps if this is posted somewhere else forgive i searched and couldnt find anything.

There is a a small screw that is set in one of the fittings for the RT.

Make sure that the fiting with is it connected to the RT piston.

This little screw is used to adjust the RT piston. Try screwing itall the way in the trigger should be nearly impossable to pull after 2-4 shots. then just back the screw off a little and keep trying the gun to you get it to yourliking

This is on the outside of the gun where the RT tubes are right, becuase i already tried adjusting them....or is it inside?

It should be on the outside

Also I forgot to ask if the cyclone feed still works.

Yeah Cyclone feed works, im not that dumb lol.

I tried adjusting the screw from the outside, but you think it could be when i put my trigger frame back on where the screw connects to the piece in the picture? I tried turning it a few times to make sure the holes of the screw face down into the frame of the trigger where the RT trigger is but im not sure if thats how it goes. You think that could be a problem or can it be screwed in any way or direction?

by the way i justed put it and screwed it all the way in, no diffrence in firing.

hrmmm

The cyclone works so that means gas is being supplied.

SO i would have to say try retunning it and if that does not work check to tsee if the piston has jamed (the piston tube has twissed some so the piston binds) or that the marco line inside the frame is still intact

OK so i opened it up and looked at the piston, im not sure how it acually should be, i pushed the piston which pushed the trigger out and in into the tube and it was kinda hard to do, how easy should i be able to do this? It came out ok tho. The black lining in the thing was making it hard to push in but easy to push out.
maybe this will help i donno

i think its because you polished your internals, i did the same thing to my old 98, and the thing sputtered out and wouldnt recock, all while shooting ice out of the cocking lever slot. there wasnt a tight enough fit around the rear bolt, the thing could rattle around back and forth. maybe we took too much off?

It recocks tho...but it does shoot some ice when i dont use a remote coil. i dont think polishing the insides is the problem. alot of people polish and use RT.

Guilty of that in more then one way.

O the other thing I just thought of is the skirt on the RT piston. If it get caught it will not work right and let the gas that is ment to drive it out. Try putting some dow 33 on it when you put the piston back in the cyclinder. it may help

dow 33 or oil?
Dow 33 is what i use on the hammer, bolt and RT piston

I will still use oil for my CRX to maintain it's o-rings

Also I belive that the mannual for the RT says too to use DOW 33 for it

Oh thats cool, they include tippmann oil with the gun and then they say to use Dow 33 lol. guess ill try that later, and if that doesnt work ill have to take it to a paintball shop i guess.

by the way, is there any way that i could have put in somthing wrong infront the the hammer or in that area of the gun becuase thats the only area i havnt double checked. I have co2 and the gun shoots fine without the Rt tho so i dont think that is but could it be a possability even with the cyclone working?
