First post, I joined because while we been away the technology has all changed a lot
and while I started playing in 1984 when it was an almost unknown sport it has
really changed a lot.

Spyder TL Plus

Wife and I used to play a lot
Bought a new house and for a quite a few years it took up all our time
with the exception of a yearly vacation.
So we want to get back into it and i wanted to do a few upgrades to her gun.

First, are led red dot sights allowed on Paintball Fields
I see a lot of new sights but they all seem to use red dot tech
If so or if not what would be a good sight for a low profile unit to fit
her Spyder TL plus

Appreciate the help and besides an electric loader what else could I use to upgrade
the Spyder TL Plus

depends on the field. i know my home field bans laser sights.

and in reality, red dots are virtually useless as a paintball doesn't fly in a straight line.

can't really "upgrade" a spyder TL. only things i could think of would be switch to HPA and get an actual regulator (if it doesn't already have one).

We had already put the expansion/regulator unit on it
The sight is more for looks anyway, she has a thing about having a BFG
LOL, and aside from purchasing a new one, some fancy add on's are the next step

as long as you know they're almost 100% aesthetic and only like 3% functional. if it makes you happy and makes you want to play, by all means =)
103%?

But I agree. while having a mask on its typically very difficult to even get your face lined up with the sight let alone see where the paint might go
