Just got an SP-1 with the 16" SP tactical barrel. Didn't have a choice with the barrel. Could have bought an additional barrel but decided to wait for a bit.

The problem is that where I currently live mostly small balls are used and available. They freely roll through this barrel. I am assuming this will effect the accuracy in spite of the fact that the guy at the shop vigorously tried to convince me otherwise.

Can you please suggest a good barrel for small paint that I can mount on the SP-1. The criteria being accuracy and quietness.

if they're rolling freely, then yes it will effect the accuracy. The thing to do if youre' super paranoid about it, is to buy a barrel with different bore sizes. But I'd say that you shout shoot it first and see how much it's effecting it before you buy anything else.

They are rolling free and I will shoot it before I buy. Not really paranoid just a perfectionist and get annoyed when things are obviously not right.

Thanks what would be a good small bore barrel? How do I choose? Is there some comparative chart with barrel bore sizing?

There is nothing wrong with paranoia

I love my freak kit but I would only recommend getting a kit if you play at lots of places that are field paint only, or if you move around alot. Other than that, just find out the bore size of the paint you usually shoot and get a barrel that matches it. If you can, test the barrel though, as your paint may be a different size than listed online

Another option would be to go with a 2 piece kit, but instead of buying the whole thing, just buy the back that you use the most. If you move or change fields, you can just get another back to fit the new field paint

I do move a lot. Lived in 3 different countries in the last 3 years and looks like I may be moving again in 6+ months.
