Hello, I just got a new ION and was wondering about the air that I can use, it has a nitro tank but was wondering if i could use Co2 due to there not being anyone around my area that can fill a tank to 3000psi. The highest anyone can fill is just over 2216 due to the fire departments around here use 2216 for their SCBA nobody else goes that high, I've checked with all the local gas shops and welding shops and they say they can't do it but they can fill Co2 all day 6 bucks a pop, so if anyone has got a solution please respond.

Thanks

you can use co2 but it's going to cost you a pretty penny.

you'll need:
An anti-siphon tube installed on your tank
An inline palmers stabalizer regulator
A regular plamers stabalizer regulator.

I woulnd't use co2 unless you take these necessary precautions.

You could also buy/rent a scuba tank, buy a filling adapter and fill from that.

you can use co2, but you gun will rip through a tank very fast. a anti siphon is about 20 bucks. Also if you got a scuba tank off of ebay, you could fill it up air at your house

Yep yep, co2 tanks hold more shots in volume than compressed air tanks do..

The reason you don't use co2 is because if liquid co2 gets into the marker, it will blow out your solenoid. This turns your marker into an expensive paperweight that costs even more money to repair.
