Okay, so I have searched and searched on the internet and found nothing. My friend has a Spyder MR1 and he has ran into some problems. His gun shoots fine when he has it hooked up with no balls in it, but as soon as he puts paintballs into it, it refuses to shoot.

I have not been able to look at the marker myself so I don't know exactly what it does. It is a stock Spyder MR1 and he runs CO2 through it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'm guessing the sear doesn't trip at all. We're at school right now but sometime today I'll try to go to his house and find out exactly what it does.

Sounds like one of those odd problems.

Try, pulling the striker and bolt out. Clean up the internals and be careful to not break your ball detent. Check the o-rings on them, if needed replace. Remember the red o-ring needs to go on the striker. put some oil on them and put back together. Remember to test with a full tank if you can.
