I'm not an electronic guy and I haven't worked on a gun in ten years. I can't get the darn thing to fire. It has air pressure and power. The internals are good. And.... I need to have it working by tomorrow for Xmas

You're using a regular 9volt and not the 9.6volt spyder battery that it originally comes with. You need to shim the noid. Put a penny between the noid and the frame.

I thought that might be it but don't think the 9.6 was working prop (fully charging) so i switched it to a regular one. I'll try it. thank you

I tried the penny and put the 9.6 back in. I also tested the battery and it's voltage was actually high (11.6). I would expect 10 but I thought 11.6 was too high. Maybe the voltmeter I'm using isn't the best for what I'm measuring.

Might be a difference in amperage instead of volts maybe?

Let me know if you're still having the issue. You may also want to check the shear and make sure it isn't heavily wore down.
