Hi Guys,
If any of you have ever played at delta force paintball you will know they have an M16 Upgrade gun, (the Tippman Bravo One). My question is, if I wanted to put a scope on the gun, namely this one: US Army Alpha Black Red Dot Scope. How easy is it to attach and detach the scope, with no tools. How does the mount work, does it need screwing and stuff or is it just easy slide on slide off. Bearing in mind you have to hand the guns back between rounds so I'd need to detach it within about thirty seconds to a minute. Is it possible, how does the mount work? And if that doesn't come off and on quickly are there any reasonably priced scopes for that gun that do?

Thanks so Much for your help :)

for paintball there is no such thing as a "reasonably priced scope" because all scopes are useless.

Paintballs are just not accurate enough to warrant any type of precision aiming device, if you are using a rental that is an even worse case scenario.

the other problem with scopes is they are not designed to be used while wearing a mask, cramming your face down onto the marker just to see though it is sometimes a problem, if this is going on a carry handle then it might be possible but the other problem is a lot of times the hopper, even if the marker is a right hand feed, is still in the way.

dont spend money on a scope, instead, get yourself a nice mask. Not only will it be more comfortable than the rental masks but you can get one that has a thermal lens in it so it will not fog. A good mask will help you more than any other piece of gear and can make your day much more fun. Also, cant shoot what you cant see.

I don't know the attachment type on the Alpha Black/Bravo One but you basically have Weaver, Picatinny, Dovetail. How hard it is depends on the scope in question and can be as simple as a thumbscrew to having to crank them on and off with screwdrivers. Basically unless it is your marker it is going to be a hassle and more trouble than it is worth. Plus you really do need to adjust the scope everytime you reattach it. If you are renting gear you'd be much further ahead buying your own mask than trying to squeeze out an edge with an abused rental marker.
