Either or. Same marker, different body. TM15 heavier but better build quality (I've heard multiple people complain of trying to get the TM7 back together due to poor fit and finish).

Invert Mini better better than both and much cheaper. Empire Axe WAY better than both too, and is only slightly more expensive than the TM7.

i agree, really it comes down to your budget and what you are looking for in a marker, if the milsim look is a must then these are probably the two best options, if you would rather have value, well there are LOTS of options out there and the mini is certainly one of them which will shoot the same as the TM series but be much lighter.

miller- thats news to me on the fit and finish, any specific areas that are causing problems or just the whole thing?

Then that is why some people say the TM-15 is better. The only think I complain about the TM-15 is that the barrel shroud is one piece with the body.

I've heard the same thing regarding TM-7 quality control problems, and again, never cared enough to learn more. It's not something I'm the least bit interested in.

that and hype of course

same reason people will argue the a5 is better than the 98

Now I say screw both of them, I prefer the M17, doesn't matter it is an inline-blowback. To bad my chances on getting my hands on one of those are slim.

Yeah but in this case I'll say that the TM15 is truly better than the TM-7 even when it is just for the materials, at least from a Mil-Sim point of view. And the TM-15 is actually not heavy at all, when you first look at it it looks like it is really going to be heavy but believe it or not I've held both the TM-15 and the Etek3 and I feel not much of a difference, the Etek3 is probably slightly lighter of course.

well if you are just rating the 15 as "better" because of the look then that really isnt quantifiable since everyone has different tastes and thinks different things look better than others
No, it's for the better quality of the shells. What could make it even to the TM-7 is if you don't like the marker's profile. The weight it's not an issue, it is surprisingly light.

My two cents

I have both markers and I personally prefer the TM15 for MILSIM and easier maintenance. The magnesium body and BOB design are much more user friendly. If you're looking for lighter weight and compactibility than you can do what I did and get a Planet Eclipse Etha and add on the eCM tactical kit for a MILSIM look with picatinny rails. All together the price would be about the same as a TM15. I use all three though my TM7 doesn't see as much action as the other two. Just my two cents.
