Well it was all very macho and dramatic. Yesterday I went to a paintball site (Ambush in Hampshire) and did a scenario where that was a large tunnle network with inter linking bunkers. The idea was to storm this dark - and muddy - complex and flick some switchs in the centure which made something go bang (not sure what the story behind that was but tehre you go).

From previously defending the complex I knew where the weakest point of entery was and went about planning an attack. Some was also foresaw the problem of friendly fire as it being so dark you couldnt actually tell the teams apart. To solve this we cleverly picked the word 'Medic' to which we would yell to confirm if we had taken a bunker and as a challenge to any player we saw.

The plan was to orginaly have our 35 strong team move round the primeter with odd few people staying behind and distracting the oppostions in the bunkers. Once everyone was in place I gave the word, and about 20 people charged towards a single bunker which we managed to clear. I admitedly wasnt first in but third and helped secure the bunker. I then proceeded to move through the tunnel network alone - and way ahead of the rest of my team yelling "Medic" at shadows and then shooting them for good measure. Shortly after I cam across a bunker with 4 young boys in who had no idea that the complex had been breached. I came right up behind them and bellowed 'SURRENDER' to which they responded with a 'Dont shoot' and honestly looked like they feared for there lifes. Once all prisoners wree confirmed out of the game by a marshal, I hasteily made my way to the main bunker to which the switches were located just outside off. Three guys were pinning down members of my team trying to reach the switches when I came up behind them, made them stick there arms in the air while someone flicked the switch followed by a bang.

All in all it was a pretty good game for me personaly as Im normally the first one to get shot :D .

I seem to have posted it in the wrong topic for some reason. Any chance of a mod moveing it to Player Stories?

Something that I find that works especially well at night is this:

For team member Identification in night combat, I use a Number Code.

Let;s say the predetermines number is 7.

If I approach someone, I will say a number, for example 4. If that person is on my team, they will respond with 3. (4 and 3 add up to 7). If they do not respond or respond incorrectly, shoot them.

This works well at night when armbands or hoppertape are harder to see.

That is a pretty good idea.

However, at the speed that we storming the tunnles, trying to add up to 7 would slow you down - seriously! In the previous games we had a Medic so our opponents must of just thought that we were idiots and didnt catch up on the fact that it was a signal.
