yep every paintball gun must follow them rules with out a gun licence. but while you playing there are even more rules which kinda suck but some are acceptable.

Well, if you had a gun like an Imagine, you could put the tournament lock on..but that's not really a high end gun. 330 FPS could be lethal, most fields around here have the cap around 290-300. Still...that's gotta suck.

i no theres caps on the fields here which is up to 300fps. but i mean if the police came to your house in England and found a paintball gun with automatic/burst fire capability on it you could face up to 10 years in prison. over 330fps you'll get up to 4 years and a £1000 fine (over $1700) and the same goes for the 9bps cap (but again depends on how much u exeed the limit). thats very serious for some1 who may not no the laws.

Ok the average FPS limit on most UK fields is around the 280 mark.

Having paintball markers with ramp/turbo boards is not illegal as this is a grey area in UK firearms laws and would need the issue to be raised in a court of law to determine its legality. The UK's Home Office do not feel a court case is required as there has never been any real issue with criminal use of paintball markers.

Most UK Scenario events allow ramping limited to 15.4bps.

Its changed, the 330FPS rule is true, but things have changed since the retardation of the 2001 rule of the 13bps "turbo" type thing,
Basicly, no gun over 330FPS, and thats it...

Anyone know the requirements for masks to be used in games?

I'm thinking of getting one of the ones below perhaps, but I'm not sure whether they're acceptable or not.

eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace

These goggles with the mask below

What do you guys think? With the full face masks it says they will fit them with 6mm thick solid acryllic lenses if I want.
