I know you guys really do help out a lot so heres my problem....

Now that i got this imagine 05, i have got a new 14" teardrop barrel, egg, 47/3000 compressed air, everything else is stock......

My original thought was to just keep doing more and more to this gun to make it look nice and perform better then it already really does on its own....But then heres the controversy....Im debating if i want to really just make this marker even better...OR if i should just save up for a new marker...BTW this marker is prolly about 5 weeks old...

Pros to keeping this marker and pimping it out
I like it a lot at the moment
I would learn more about the actual gun from installing new things
I could eventually make it look really nice..
I just got it, so everything is fully functional

cons about making this marker even better...
The money used could go towards a new marker...
Not sure if i would actually get to much more of performance...
Unsure if this would be a waste of my money...

So really im debating as stated....I know its the player and not the marker im not saying that, i just want a good gun as well...

So its down to either making this gun even better/nicer looking or save up for a new gun...

I really appreciate all the help i recieve!

well, i see it this way....buy only upgrades that are universal, most of which you already have. what i mean by universal, is , ups that would work on any marker : tank, hopper, regulator, drop/rail, on/off, or even some sticky grips.

i would stay away from the things that wont : valves, microswitches, bolts, lpc's, or any other spyder specific part.

the beauty of this is, your gun will work well with the universal mods, the spyder specific mods dont really do that much good for your performance anyways. and, after you get all the universal mods, then save for a "good" marker, they will transfer straight over and you will have a bad ass gat.

I had a victor II bought hpa and hopper for it then I just got rid of it and ordered an ion. so now I have hpa and a hopper for my ion and I think the ion will be a huge improvement.

IF, u want to still upgrade ur spyder (instead of saving), the only thing i would recommend is a t-board and a lighter switch. THEN, u need to stop, and start saving.

once again great advice :), Would a blue bolt be a transfer type of part or no?

Also quick question on a reg....How do you know what to set the inlet and i think outlet pressure?

Like they said. Universals then upgrade. I do suggest all the free/self mods to your internals, I did them and am very happy with them.

or you could slowly buy intimidator parts and when you get them all, cut you esp frame and spimmy that beeotch. then you could still have your gun looking about the same.

i wouldnt upgrade the internals too much. you can do some of the home mods on www.ottersccustoms.com, to get the gun running lower pressure. other than that i'd do like the other people said and stick to the universal ups......
