I know there was a previous thread about the Vlocity and the Halo. But, my halo has given me so much headaches, that I am ready to sell it. Which would you guys prefer (I will buy mine depending on this thread), the Empire Reloader B or the Vlocity? Please add any comments on either, the pros and cons. I do not plan in upgrading any parts of the one I choose...At least for the moment. Thanks for all of your help guys, it is much appreciated.

I've had Halos for about a year, a Vlocity for about a month, and a reloader for about a week, this is what I've found:

Halo:
When it works, it works fine. For some reason though they tend to have lots of problems with the electronics messing up, the shells breaking, jamming, etc. Stock, it's not quite as fast as a VLocity on a higher speed setting or a reloader, but it's certaintly fast enough to reach 15 without any skipping which is all you need.

Reloader:
I've had the least experience with this one, but from what I've seen it's more reliable than a halo and faster. Apparently the rumors that the shells were stronger are actually true, but idk yet. The sound activation is both great and annoying at the same time. In terms of in game performance it's better. Off the field it's annoying because you have to manually take paint out of the hopper and there isn't any practical way of testing to see if the reloader is working okay.

VLocity:
My favorite by far. It's far far lighter than either the reloader or halo, and it doesn't really jam at all. Only drawbacks is that to some it looks very odd, and the batteries drain like there's no tommorow. As in, you MUST invest in some sort of rechargable batteries if you don't want to replace your batteries every time, or at best every other time you play.

I do have an Ion with a virtue board and some other upgrades, so the marker is shooting really fast. I would need the most reliable and fastes hopper around.

VLocity, hands down for me. I own multiple Reloader Bs, Halos with various boards, only the Cheetah board felt as consistent to me as the VLocity.

With rechargable batteries, the VLocity is lighter, has a higher ball capacity, virtually the same profile, feeds more consistantly, and seems just as durable as a Halo/Reloader.

Things that are irksome, the door opens so that you basically have to dump pods in at a 90 degree angle, the opening is smaller than a Halo. For those that like speed feeds some modification must be done to accept them. Battery life without a rechargable pack is laughable above setting #1. The hum of the motor constantly keeping tension on the ball stack is vaguely annoying.

You don't need the fastest... the only way you could reach the peak speed of any of these hoppers is with illegal ramping.

first of all the sound activation works great, and if you ever need to dump paint into a pod or check if it is working correct, you can blow on the board or you can open the lid and talk/yell into it.

and second, everybody should run their velocity's at setting 1!!

it keeps up fine and anything higher will kill your battery. this is how xsv runs theirs

I know the sound activation works great, I said that. And like I said... there's no practical way to use it off the field. Yelling or blowing into my hopper is not my idea of practical.

And I do run my VLocity on setting 1. The battery efficiency still sucks.

Hrmmm I would probably go with the VLocity if price is not an issue. Has anyone played with the new Empire Reloader B2? It's supposed to be faster than the original, but I don't know by how much.
