lets keep this an actaul thread k, keep all that lol and !! crap out.. its so annoying.

Who here goes for walks to chill and try and think **** through? usually i write to get stuff out, but sometimes its not enough to write and i gotta think **** through, so i go for walks. mostly to get away from everything, i'll go into the woods and walk around.. or got into farmers field and just walk till i find a nice spot to sit for awhile.

usually seems to work really well.. just the get away from all other noise and be outside..

so yeah anyone else find that this works for em? if not, what do you do?

again, keep this serious..

back when I was in deep ****. I used to run every night at about 3 in the morning. really easy to clear your head when you run down mainstreet and no one else is there.

i dont know if i walk to clear my head, but sometime i waslk, just to walk. like one time during winter, i waslked out to get the mail from the end of my court wearing only boxers and big knee high boots, but when i got to the mailbox, i just kept walking. i dont know why, but i did, and i eventually walked for about a mile until i got to the local sledding hill. so chilled there for a while sledding in my boxers and boots until i was too numb and then i walked home. i still dont know why i did that, i didnt WANT to go sledding, i just wanted o walk some more

I do it, but not that often. I just walk to get places, theres plenty of time to think when I'm in high school. But sometimes I enjoy being in a peaceful quite place to think about things.

omg i do this like everyday. i have a dog, so i just take him for walks as an excuse to go so no one thinks im like weird or something. i usually walk, go to the park around the block, and go on the swing. swings are the most relaxing things ever. if you walked around the block and by the park, youd see me swinging right before dinner like every day. i know that sounds stupid, but thats how i get stuff out of my friends if they stressed or w/e.

i usually just walk in my backyard. Very peaceful. My mom is like hardcore into garndening so i walk in the back yard and just look at all the cool ****. We have a couple birdbaths so i just usually sit on a stone bench chair thing and watch the day go by. Or i will go walk through a trail by a river and just sit and fish.

i work out or i sometimes walk. i also play paintball to clear my head. there is an INSANE indoor by my house and if i am kinda feelin ****ty i go down there and play with a bunch of walk ons. i just play for free and BYOP usually cuz the manager is tight w/ me and i hooked him up. its sucks to play w/ walk ons, but like every other night good teams practice and i play with them and on sundays i go up there for team practice and let all my steam out

when i need to think s$%^ through, i just get as far away from home as possible on my bike. One time i went 2 towns down, which is about 10 miles round trip. It really helps getting away from my town, and away from everyone sometimes

I get on my dirt bike and ball ass deep into the woods. I stop and sit and just watch nature. It calms me down.

I get in my truck fill up the tank and go drive somewhere, no where specific. Kinda like forest gump I just keep going till I'm tired and then go back. When I dont have my car like when i'm out of town i'll walk from my hotel to a park and sit and watch people go by and I never take a cd player or cell phone.

I walk in the mornings, 3:00am - 6:00am with my CD player...it just helps me to clear my mind and noone is outside which makes the whole thing better.

i used to go for bike rides.. but now my bike just pisses me off with all the clinks and clanks

has to be super quiet or all natural sounds for me.. cept bugs.. ****ing hate bugs

I usually will exercise to get bad energy out, that or like stated above fill up the truck and just got to another state and write there. I like going weird places to write, sometimes arkansas, sometimes kansas, sometimes missouri, find a federal park or something like there is one on the ark border that has the most beautiful waterfall so I explored a way and there is a back to it so I go there sometimes. but exercise works really well for me I've let myself slack off on writing since finishing comp I and II in college. I usually just write poems/journals/songs. never was good with stories like you. but if I walk I have to have a cigarette, and I've since quit that so I'm not walking as much anymore.

dude that sounds like something holden caulfied would say...

whenever i walk i want a smoke or cigar.. so i usually get sun flower seeds or something to do with my hands, like hold me cd player or what ever.

its sad though, i never really was a smoker and its been so long since my last cig.. but cigars.. i like em too much.
