Just when I thought a Honda Element couldn't get any uglier, and that the interior was bad enough, I see that. There is an Element parked next to me at work today, and I looked in when I was grabbing my lunch, and what do I see? A manual. Not just a manual, but the ugliest, weirdest, crappiest interior I think I've ever seen.

What the hell were they thinking?

HAHAHA
Those things are fugly as hell, I mean, really, how is that even close to comfortable? You hafta hold your arm out on the shifter. I would not buy a Civic SI just because of that...that is gay.

Elements on the other hand, I just would never buy one. They have alot of interior room, but fugly as hell.

while quirqy i kinda dig em...

as for the shifter... that shifter style goes back to the 60's... back in the day when honda was putting the motorcycle engines into cars... you know the days when people REALY hated on hondas... who needed 40 mpg when gas cost $.35 a gallon ;-)

i still REALY dig the h600... looked like a copy of the Mini... 1st time i saw one i mistook it for a mini (no i'm not talking the "new" MINI) they also had a sporty type one...

while the shifter looks "wrong" it is nice for packaging... and it does sit closer to the steering wheel then a floor mount would... just think of the *****ing you'd hear if they put a long stick on the floor like they do in f150s or whatever...

If I remember correctly the interior of that car is designed to be able to be washed out if dirty. Anyway, the car needs a stick, with an automatic the car wouldn't be getting enough power to the ground to get out of its own way. ;)
