The 98C was made to except every possible upgrade made by Tippmann.

Well...I'm not crazy for the Gills, but we'll let Snip3r have that one. And the upgrades point as well- they're almost all just complete drop in upgrades with the 98C.

Stock though, they're both really almost the same, aside from the outside looks. The M98 has a slightly different trigger setup with the springs, and the trigger guard needs sawed off to replace the trigger with a double. About any upgrade that would 'drop in' to the 98C needs a little work (or more than a little work) to get into the M98.

you should get the tippmann 98 custom pro. It is pretty good and for what it costs to put a dropforward and a double trigger on the gun it is a good deal. At http://www.anythingxtreme.com/Tippma...uns-C3117.aspx

If you get the custom pro, get the electronic one instead of the RT one. I honestly have no idea why they would make thr custom pro RT model.

The 98c is more compatable with upgrades, and looks better.
