M98 vs. Custom 98

I was at the field this past weekend and a guy offered me his M98 plus 10 bucks for my custom 98. Now i dont know a lot about paintball guns, but what is the difference between the two? i always thought that the two guns were the same thing. Ok thanks!

98c is way way easier to customize. All the screw holes and slots and whatnot are already in the gun. But the model 98 you have to send into tippmann to drill the holes for you. I would say keep your 98c you'll be glad you did if you ever upgrade it. other than that the only differnce really is 98c is newer.

They are the same performance wise. The main difference aside from the looks is that the custom 98 is milled out in the inside to except tippmann upgrades. Also I believe the trigger guard on the model98 isnt removable.

If you ever plan to upgrade your gun, and you probably do, stick with the 98 custom.
