Unhappy Rem Oil-nasty stuff

I found out the hard way. Ive been using remoil on my tippmann and nowhere on the can does it warn you that it takes paint off. my paint is still in ok condition but i think that itll be time for a new paint job soon, oops.

if your only using it on the inside than you are not going to need a new paint job, unless you like to rub it on the outside of your tippy?

no, when you oil it and shoot it a few times, oil likes to blow out of random gaps lol.

remoil is what i use on my shotgun.... its not for pb guns dude!!!!!

i kno its for guns, but its still oil but apparently its not paint safe. I use it on my 870 express 12 gauge

Must have some good solvents in that stuff to attack powdercoating like it did. I've used Hoppes for years in my 98 and haven't had a problem. They even come from Tippmann with a tube of the stuff.

i cant shoot an 870 cause of the way i mount the gun... my thumb touches my nose and when i fire my thumb makes contact with my nose and it hurts..
