oh, woops i never owned a tippy and almost every other gun manufacture have the same threads ie all timmys ect. ecept if the change it when its newer ie. bushy... and yes

The 98's threads are a very strange kinda thread. My buddies dad works at a machine shop and he said he really hasent seen any threads that thick. But the Carbine's and A-5's are the same and look like normal threads.
