Yea I'm pretty sure, though I dont know if you can get an A-5 Cyclone feed for the 98c. But If you found one, rock on.

The only problem I see is that the shroud of the Flatline may get in the way of the Cyclone Feed. I have never used either one, but then again I'm a n00b at paintball .

IMO, you should probably just buy an A-5 instead of buying all that crud. It would probably be cheaper......

I would just bag the idea of the cyclone feed. I hated it when I had my A5.

I'm pretty sure if you put the cyclone on there, the shroud won't fit.

If somebody knows from experience, please enlighten him.

What're the big problems with cyclone feed?

BUT, does it reliably push balls into the gun? I know whenever I pack my normal hopper full of balls, they often get so full they won't fall. I'd imagine the cyclone would eliminate this entirely, what about halo b (for same price?)?

Ughh.. forgot what else I wanted to ask.

The obvious solution would be to put in less balls, but whatever... I'm all for maximum efficiency and have been known to get the last kill in a game with my last ball. Literally.

Unless you have an E-grip or response trigger, don't even bother with the halo. Throw a $30 Revvy on there and your set. All you'll ever need for a mech tippy.

Yeah! Get a HaloB. They are awesome plus you can use it on a different marker later on. I would can the flatline also. I have a J&J on mine and can shoot better than my buddy's flatline. Plus they are loud.

A Halo may be the way to go but I have a cyclone on my 98c and use it with no problems (it came with the gun when I purchased it). It doesn't waste any air as it doesn't draw from the CO2, only the "after-shot" gasses. It uses the same principle as the Tippmann response trigger. I'll try and post some pics of my 98c w/ cyclone feed later today.

it's true the cyclone feed pushes the balls in, but the halo does the same thing plus it doesn't waste air.

it's faster and holds more balls too.

They had a Cyclone feeder a long time ago on an old gun. I think it was the Factory F/A.

It was spring powered and you had to wind it, sort of like a watch.

I have a tippy 98 with a flatline and im one of the guys that likes it. I can reach out and touch someone a lot further than most. Accuracy is a bit of a problem, could probably be helped by an expansion chamber. I wouldnt put on the cyclone feeder, takes up too much air, besides, IF you use the flatline, you wont want to put too many balls through it too fast anyways. An electric hopper will work just fine, mine keeps up with me no problems. Now, if you want to spray and pray go for a straight barrell and the cyclone with a bigass tank, a response trigger, and a whole bunch a pods. Good luck.

Can I have a RT kit with a cyclone, or do the two combined use too much waste air?

It'll work just as good as the A-5 RT's do.
