What kind of finishes do most Tippmanns have?

I'm trying to find out what type of finishing my SL-68 II has..

I read in another forum that its a bead blast finish, but I always thought beadblasting was a method of removing paint by blasting it with high pressure beads or sand.

I origonally wanted my SL-68 II to be olive Drab, but now I think I'm going to beadblast it/powdercoat it black, with olive drab accents.

Glass bead blasting probably gave it the rough texture. I think it was powder coated afterwards, or the aluminun would be that lovely dull grey color.

I'd polish the body up before you send it off to be coated if you want the shiney.
