installing my 98c drop forward

hey...i just got the tippmann 98c drop forward and im stuck on putting it on...should i unscrew the hose from the old part you put your tank into and screw it into the new one or should i force it to fit with the old part?

If the hose will still reach, you can use it. Take it off of the old ASA, attach it to the new drop, and then put the drop on. I think its easier this way.

Be sure to clean the threads on the hose and to apply new loctite or teflon tape to seal it.

Yes, make sure you put teflon/loctite (Loctite recommended) on it after you unscrew it...I made a bad decision not to...had to use a Spyder Victor II for 3 paintball days (3 weeks for me) before my Custom Pro fixed itself.
