a5/98 threading?

is there anything different between the two? i assume they have the same threading, but the barrel i might get my friend only says a5. its a straight one piece, and it wouldn't have clearance probs or anything, so why does it only say a5?

yep...threads r way different....an a5s is similar to spyder threads, but not the same, and a 98 customs threads are completely different

98c's threads are much wider and fewer than A5 threads, which are thinner and have more thread lines.
