model 98 vs custom 98

i just wanted to know how a custom 98 is more upgradeable than a model 98. ive taked the gun apart and everything it all appears to be the same except for the design of the outside

it pretty much is the same, except i think that the milling in the 98 custom halves is different than the mod98. otherwise they are the same....

I think the customs internals are designed accommodate upgrades, like RT's
I don't believe they perform any different...

yeah i used the search button cuz he made the same thread before (omg search button?!?!?!hax!) and found out that with the custom you can put a double trigger in without any mods, but with the regular 98 you have to use a dremel tool to make it fit

You can find double triggers made by psychoballistics on ebay every now and then. Then you don't have to mill anything, just cut off the trigger guard.

The only problem with that is most feilds require that you gun has a triger guard

It comes with a big ugly trigger guard, or you can buy a lapco double trigger guard that replaces the nut nearest to your trigger guard. It's pretty nice looking.

go with the custom or custom pro cuz i dont think that they make a model 98 anymore cuz i dont see them at all

recently read that the NEW 98s (non customs) are now being made w/different barrels/threads.
I belive customs and A5's both share the same barrels/threads...right?
