Crap...Gun not cocking...

Lol well this is kinda funny i just got my Tippmann A-5 today and i opened it up so i knew how the gun works and if i had a problem with it on the field i would beable to know a little better of what i need to do.

So i found out how to open the gun after 15 minutes of looking threw the user guide lol, then i got the trigger frame off and i was like well i can take of the Co2 feed and put my remote on it so it doesnt have to go on the handle...well i didnt know how to get the other end off so i just put it back on and then put the spring, cocking thing and trigger all back together.

Now when i cock the gun with the spring in it doesnt cock it just slides back, but i tried cocking the gun without the spring and it cocks fine...so somthing in the gun isnt catching the bolt from stoping until i press the trigger.....any help is alot right now thanks.

ok now after about 3 hours of trying to figure out what was wrong i figured out the drive pin was missing when i put everything back together so i put that in and now i cannot even cock my gun, i think the drive pin is hitting or preventing the bolt from going back all the way.....

anyone know what the heck im doing wrong?

Take it apart again and put it back together again with an exploded parts diagram. And check out this thread. https://www.paintballforum.com/forum/...ad.php?t=75424 There are lots of Diagrams and pics of the tippy internals. Moreso than the FAQ thread which I found surprising, plus you'll prolly see some things in there that you like. Also check out the FAQ thread, but hit up the the link first.

no i read it and i looked at my spring, im not exacly sure how to get the stock spring out....also will it make that big of a diffrence with a RT on it? Becuase i bought my A-5 with the RT.

Also i want to find out how to take the vertial feed or what ever u call the thing that u screw ur c02 tank into on the bottem of ur handle. that goes to your gun.....i was able to screw the wire off but i dont know how to get the part off where u screw ur tank into. so instead of plugging my Remote into the vertical feed i want to screw it directly in the gun....any ideas on how too get the thing off?

i wouldnt honestly, its more comfy when the remote goes straight back, if you put it directly into the hole infront of the trigger frame its just gonna have to stretch past your hand, which = uncomfyness. take specops que, their stocks have the remote go into the stock to minimize the length of the remote stretch.

oh yeah i never thought about that...probably just another way to get the remote line in ur way which i dont really want....basicly i was just going to puit it their for the looks because i think the virtical adapter or w/e its called and the silver line is ugly but maybe ill keep it now afte thinking about how many more ways the remote can get in my way....

Anyone have and ideas about the RT with a custom spring in the trigger though?
