Im pretty sure the only difference is that you cant install a Flatline or something along those lines by yourself on the Model 98.

Basically, there is no difference.

teh custom is mroe easily customises, has custon body kits you can buy for it.

I'd go with a custom because you can add things to it more easily.

Model 98 is older, means that you might have to drill a few holes to get some upgrades on there that the 98 Custom already has holes for.
