Need help with response!

I just recently bought a response trigger for my 98 custom. My 98 is the newer version with the grip frame milled out to except the E-trigger and response. I put it in yesterday and shot it and it shot good. I played 2 games with it today and the 1st game it did real good, but the last game it didn't. I can pull the trigger 1 time and let it go and it keeps firing like 10-20 times. What's wrong with it. I have a full tank on it.

Man I dont know about the new frames, but it sounds like your sear spring. Did a sear spring come with the RT kit? On the old 98's you had to use the sear spring that came with the kit, if you tried to use the stock spring you got alot of what you are experiencing.

Is your 98C using compression springs or pull springs (2 holes on each side) for the trigger?

sounds like the sear is not catching

there are a few reasons that this my be hapening
1. Your sear might have worn down a little
2. The sear spring is not strong enough so it just bounces off the hammer
3. You sear or the spring is getting caught on some thing in the gun so it is not comming back up like it should
4. Were the Sear catches on the hammer may have rounded off
