Why 98 tippmanns are the best

Why 98 tippmans are the best---in my opinion.

First there cheap thats always good

Second they are rock solid

Third they shot a ball when trigger is pulled

And 4TH not 4rd (hehe) Everone has them, so alot of people with "better guns" hate tippmanns and think they cant hit worth ****.

These factors make a really big smile when i shot out a guy with a $500 plus marker, the guys who always look down at poeple who dont spend all there life savings and sell there kids off to pay for a top of the line marker.

So am i the only person who has a great amount of fun hunting for the players with the trickout markers, and tagging then right in the mask

My best story i have, is one time i was playing paintball i had a 98 custom stock, Some of my friends-friends were with us and were in the tourney circuit. We went to one of the speedball fields and started playing 1vs 1 and 2vs2. The best thing was after 7 games in 1vs1 i won each of they. I felt so good my $150 gun was beating there $600 setup.

Any other stories, sorry if this is in the wrong forum btw. I am soo bored at work.

Ps if you are a cool person with a high $$ set up thats cool, but if your one of those kids who walk with there head up like all others are flys compared to you, watch out for the 98 tippmann, when it smacks you in the face, and we all laugh as you say, by battery died, or these balls arnt good, i did not get enough sleep last night, or my fav, Ref check him HE MUST be shooting hot

I like Tippmanns and everything, but if u beat ur friends w/ $600+ markers in one-on-one with a 98c than I have come to the conclusion that they just suck...

I buy it.

But if you are consistently beating guys with expensive setups then they need to get their priorities in line.

Nice stuff is great but it won't make the player.

I think u should QFT! true it may be more of a challenge but at the same time in a speedball game having a stock tippy will put u in a big disadvantage. Just because someone has up'd there gun does not always mean they are rich, like me im more and need to save up and work for it to get my new gun, and I had to sell my old one. Anyways if ur a good player, you will do good with a decent gun, but if your a good played with good equipment then u will most indevinently do better. I mean you dont see the U.S using sticks and stones because its more challenging in war do yah? nope....they dont....
Oh and yes tippmanns make great guns! will miss mine had good times...

Tippmanns are great guns, don't get me wrong, but they are definately not the best.

I agree that kids with high end 1000 dollar guns that talk crap and think they are god of paintball are annoying as mess, but not all people that own high end guns are like that.

Also...it's been stated before and it will be stated again.

It's not the gun that makes the player, it's the player that makes the player.

No actually I am a scientologist, I took and finished 3 courses: Hubbard Qualified Scientologist, Dianetics Seminar, and Speech. Taking at home Dianetics right now actually.

There is just something about following a religion created by the same guy that wrote Battlefield Earth that gives me the willies.

Agreed. I have nothing against any other religions, but Scientology doesn't make very much sense to me.

Right because Judeo-Christian philosophy makes a whole lot of sense.

Uhm actually no it wouldnt smartass, Scientology is a religon that is recognized by the U.S. government giving it tax exempt status and it is an actual religon. Scientology has actually done alot for people in the world, such as the tsunami disaster they helped the sick through scientology teachings and donated much money to the aid, katrina they also helped the sick and injured. So before you go and bash on someones religon like an ignorant person that most people are think about other peoples personal beliefs, I dont go and bash whatever religon you are or anyone else for the matter. Oh and if you starter Trauma_alertology that would be a cult because you are an idiot trying to be a smartass and would most indefinently not teach anything.

So...PBF goes on another segue to Scientology from Tippmann 98 customs. How in the world?

But yeah, isn't talking about religion against the rules?

tl;dr

but what gun is best is a matter of what you're playing, the needs for the type of play, etc etc. all guns are nearly as accurate as any other gun given proper paint matching. Rof becomes and issue depending on type of play, as does the need for stability and ruggedness.

all in all, the tippmann is a great gun, i rocked one for years. But thats not to say that it is any better than any mech spyder(which is simpler in design and operation), or for that matter something like say a palmers blazer.

while what is "best" for one person and their playing may not be what is best for another.
