Major Curving...

Yet another problem with my A-5 again lol. But like my teacher always says 99.9% The problem is not the computer or Marker in this case...its user error.

So let me ask anyways, I adjusted my Velosity to 280 before i played, it worked great for 3-4 games and abot 3-4 hours later i turned my velosity all the way in (right) which is suppose to lower your velosity. The reason i did this was becuase i took one shot off and my paint was curving like crazy. It looked like a baloon releasing air flying all over the place. Somtimes they would make a complete circle and curve again id loose sight of the paintball because it went behind a bunker or somthing....

So i adjusted my velosity several times and i was either shooting WAY too hot or not shooting at all....i had to rainbow shots just to get 50 feet.

Any advise as why this is happening besides my paint and barrel let me know!

Did you clean the barrel?

Even if you didn't chop like bobide suggested the paint might have been oily and in turn smeared that all over the barrel.

I clean my barrel after every round of play. Will make your paint curve really badly if your barrel is dirty.

yes, clean the barrel if you havent yet. I always use battle swabs during gameplay, and then a rubber disc squeegie between games to get out the extra. Your velocity shouldnt make the balls curve.

hmm, i didnt chop all day after i think of it. But normaly i only swab after i chop or get dirt in the barrel, not after every game...so maybe that was the problem, ok thanks.

With my stupidity i was thinking the problem was my velosity so i got a allen wrench out during a fire fight between 2v1. 2 were my team and i was trying to adjust my velosity...my teammate gets out and all a sudden i see this guy running at me lol. Then i got shot dropped my allen wrench and then felt stupid...

Time to get a straight shot squeegee tho, stupid pull thru squegees all i got right now.

Yeah well im glad its this easy of a problem i can fix right away by just cleaning the barrel out...i was afraid somthing was wrong with my velocity lol.

It was funny tho, the 2nd game it happind to me i decieded to play anyways, 2 people were behind a bunker so i just decieded to shoot in the air and hope i hit them since i had my velosity all the way down lol. It looked like it was raining on them.

LOL! I didn't always clean my barrel as much but after seeing what a little debris and ball oil in it can do I always clean it. I just use a viewloader jerk squeegie between and during games if necessary. Put a little water on it and it's as clean as can be. Woods that is. You wouldn't have time in a speedball game to use a jerk one.

Yeah...kinda figured that out the hard way along time ago, one time when i was playing speedball. But i won lol, it was 1v1 in the speedball game since i was in the back after busting a ball taking my barrel off and a bunch of other stuff, this kid was running at me and im just trying to screw the barrel on after i cleaned it...luckly which i didnt know he was out of paint shooting air at me lol still funny tho i was scared as hell.
