Nitro for 98C

I want to get nitro for my 98Custom. Which pressure should I get? Would 3000 PSI be a good choice?

Yes 3000psi would work, but you won't get as many shots out of it.

Well, like I said, I dunno much about Nitro. What's the advantage of Nitro?

I would prefer to spend <$150. What's a good tank for me?

yes it will work just fine, butt you will get more shots out of a 4500...3000 means that it doesn't hold as much pressure. so you won't have as much air in your tank...which means less shots...so make sure you get all day air

But, still, what's the advantage of using Nitro as opposed to using CO2?

Temperature doesnt affect it, velocity consistancy, no liquid CO2 in gun, cleaner and better for your gun.

Is this a good buy? I'd have no problem with refilling it after every game....

Yes, but it will be kinda heavy. Try to get like a 45ci/4500psi carbon fiber tank.

No, the one you showed was a steel tank. A carbon fiber tank is much lighter than a steel one.

All right, well, I think I might get that heavy one. I don't have the money for one of these fancy fiber ones, and, hey, I have no problem with the capacity.

Ok, it is legit. You will get about 700-750 shots out of that tank.

Well they say you get 10 shots for every cubic inch on a 3000psi tank. So 10x72=720 shots. But you said you didnt care about refilling it anyway.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I won't be shooting 720 shots in a round, anyway.

Here's what you have to think about.. How many PSI can your field fill to? Do you have a Scuba shop near you that can fill to 4500? If one or both questions are yes you should get a 68-72 4500 psi tank. I've never had to much air at the field. My guns seem to shoot better over 2000 psi. If you goto pickup/outlaw games and you can get your tank filled to 4500 psi you'll appreciate it. Seems expensive now but the guns come and go. You'll use this tank for a long time.

I agree but it is your decision.
