Feed neck problems 98c

i opened up my gun and the little spring on the feed neck flew out, i put it back in but now my feed neck wont hinge down, the metal button is stuck.

If you still have your manual check the blow up picture, and reassemble it like shwon.

If you dont have thaqt look at the tippmann website for one

yup, sounds like you put it in wrong, or did you tighten the front screw too tight? sometimes that keeps the spring from making the tab recover.

1st untighten the screw that goes right there and see if that helps the problem.
2nd take it apart and see if you put it in wrong.

Uhmm... I'm not sure if people have suggested this yet (I haven't read the replies).

But the reason is likely one of the following:

1.) You tightened the screw at the front sight of the gun too tight.

OR

2.) You just placed the spring back in. You have to bend the spring so it fits snugly into place, but be careful when you're screwing your gun back together that it doesn't fly out again (same with the spring below the bolt).
