Flatline Perfomance

Hi,does the flatline barrell slow the velocity down much compaired to a normal barrell? has anyone chronographed the gun while only changing the barrells?

The flatline does slow the velocity down a little, but the spin will make it go further. I have not accually done that on the chrono with only changing barrels but I'm sure it does.

Why does that matter?

Once you strap your barrel on you adjust your gun until the velocity is field legal anyway. The flatline works best around 285 which is near the high end of most field limits, and my be above some indoor fields limits so you'll have to turn down.

Anyway, it isn't ported so you wouldn't lose any velocity from gas escaping early through the ports. But the bore is huge so a good amount of air would probably escape around the ball itself.

In short, I really can't answer how velocity would change if you were to chronograph something like the stock barrel and then the flatline on the same gun with no other changes.
