Exclamation Sear Spring

My 98 Pro wasn't cocking, so I took it apart and found that my sear spring had a coil that was turned really wierd. I bent it back into place, but right when i got it to where I wanted to, it snapped. I shoved a clicky pen spring into its place and put it back together. It cocks now. I did notice a HUGE difference in the thickness of wire used for the springs and it kind of worries me. Will the clicky pen spring work or should I try to get a new sear spring from the factory? If that's the case, how do I order one? Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Give Tippmann a call and say that your sear spring was bent and then broke, or whatever happened. They're usually good about sending out new parts.

The pen spring may work, or it may be weak enough to not pop the sear up fast enough to catch the bolt after you use it for a while.
