custom making a power tube in shop class tommorrow.

Any tips, also I was wondering it I could skip tapping a hole for the velocity screw iF I get rear velocity adjuster? of am I better off with the stock grub screw?

WHat I am planning on doing is taking some 1in steel rod and drilling a hole through it and then throwing it on a lathe to get the front part to the diameter it needs to be but I cant figure ho to remove all of the excess material from the inside?

Have something against aluminum?

I'd keep the normal velocity screw, but an RVA might be enough to keep the FPS where it needs to be. The one I've used didn't have much of an effect though. If it comes down to it, you can change the main spring to something slightly lighter to lower the velocity. But that involves taking the gun apart.

Should be able to bore it on the lathe with the right tool.

I've never made one, but there's a guy on here that did. I'm almost sure it was mortisdeum.
