Cutting off handle on 98c

Ive seen it done many times and was wondering how can I cut the front handle off my 98c? I don't like it and like griping my hand around the body of the 98c rather than around a handle. Any suggestions on what to cut it off with and what to then fill the hole it will leave with?

You mean the finger ridges or the entire front mount?

I've only seen it done once-
https://www.paintballforum.com/custom...ew-98-mod.html

He filled the hole in with epoxy filler.

I'd cut it with a hacksaw and then flatten out what remained with a file. Power tools would speed up the process. Sawzall or bandsaw for sure, then probably still I'd finish it with a file.

The putty filler is pretty easy to work with. Just mix it together and you'll have a few minutes to get it in position. I'd definitely use metal filler putty though. Not just epoxy like super glue. It'll be more like clay and won't run where it shouldn't be at.

You might want to do each side separatly with the filling, or the gun will become stuck together. After it hardens you can grind it down as needed.
